Discovery, creativity, and a shared passion for science and technology were on display at the Celebrate Education Night. West Islip High Science Honor Society students manned a table brimming with fun and interactive science activities, captivating attendees of all ages. They ran various STEM stations including slime making, balloon helicopters, catapults, and more, sparking curiosity and excitement. Mr. Varney, alongside his students, hosted an amazing hands-on physics display. Additionally, the robotics team wowed the crowd with an impressive demonstration of their state-of-the-art robot. The technology department showcased a robotic arm demo and a diverse array of innovative products they’ve created.
