The West Islip boys tennis team recently completed their best season in 50 years, going 11-0 in divisional play. Their success continued in the post-season with an impressive performance in the divisional individual tournament with 13 players qualifying. Five players competed in the Section XI individual county championship, earning All-County honors (Dean Silva, Tadhg O’Sullivan-Bakshi, Jake Guttman, Andrew DiStefano and Kevin Halloran). Coach George Botsch and the team also had a great showing in the Suffolk County team post-season tournament.
