The Beach Street select chorus and seventh and eighth grade chorus students, along with teacher Ms. Persico, recently took a field trip to New York City. They started off the day in a professional studio with an actor from the Broadway show “Aladdin.” This is a program sponsored through Broadway Classroom. There was a piano accompanist, and the students learned and performed a song and dance routine they saw later that day in the show. Following the workshop, they had lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe and then walked over to the theater to see “Aladdin.”
