West Islip Union Free School District joined forces with Hauppauge School District for a cornhole tournament to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project. Teachers, staff and administrators from the two districts went head-to-head for the competition at Pro Game Athletics in Bay Shore. Twenty-five teams from each district competed, with the winning team receiving the honor of presenting the check to the Wounded Warrior Project. The tournament raised a total of $6,350 to benefit the organization.
