The West Islip girls indoor track team had an outstanding season this past winter. The team improved throughout the season and had five athletes earn All-League honors (Adilia Trim, Madison Howley, Caitlyn Filiato, Hannah DiPietro and Rowan Dorn). Adilia broke two school records (55-meter and 300-meter dash) and earned All-County honors. Adilia also qualified for the NYSPHSAA state championship at the Ocean Breeze Indoor Track and Field Complex in Staten Island, where she ran a personal best of 40.73 and set a new school record in the 300-meter race.
