Congratulations to the boys winter track team and coaches Vin Melia and Matt Sullivan on a successful season! The team continued to progress throughout the season resulting in multiple personal bests and several school records being broken. Junior Sebastian Niewinski broke the 300-meter school record, and seniors Kevin McCabe and Gavin DeVito both broke the 3,200-meter record in the same meet.  The team had four individuals and two relay teams qualify for the Section XI Championship meet. Gavin DeVito was crowned the Suffolk County champion in the 1,600 meter and senior Michael Harbord finished sixth in the county in the 3,200. Gavin also qualified for the New York State Indoor Track championship at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island with a win in the 1,000!
