Third graders at Bayview Elementary School honored their literacy accomplishments with a Fundations Celebration on Feb. 7. Students visited three stations to participate in activities that highlighted the lessons learned from level 2.

Students played trick word bingo at the “bingo bonanza” station, acted out charades with words of the day at the “make it fun” station and built words using tiny alphabet pasta at the “Alpha-Bits and pieces” station. The fun-filled event finished up with an alphabet snack and third graders receiving certificates and new books for the next level.
