Student-musicians from throughout the district were recently chosen to participate in the Long Island String Festival. These students were selected based on their strong musicianship and impressive New York State Music Educators Association rating.

Congratulations to the following students: Paul J. Bellew Elementary School – Sahaj Kohli; Oquenock Elementary School – Oliver Alfano; Manetuck Elementary School – Avery Terpko; Udall Road Middle School – Tyler Burnett, Natalie Chrostek and James Newsom;

Beach Street Middle School – Emily Enciso, Adeline Kelly, Dominic Montemaggiore, Dante Morales and Sebastian Stasi; West Islip High School – Natalie Aspetti and Dana Shi.
