On Nov. 20, fourth graders at Paul J. Bellew Elementary School had a firsthand experience of what life was like for Native Americans. During an in-house field trip titled “Journeys into American Territory,” students listened to stories, viewed a museum filled with Native American artifacts, and participated in hands-on activities such as milling corn and drilling wood.
