Congratulations to the West Islip girls tennis team and coach George Botsch on another incredible season! The team qualified for the Suffolk County playoffs with a regular record of 10-3 and won their opening round match. The Lions also had 10 players qualify for the Division II Individual championships. They were: Evamaria Crosley, Julia Evangeliou, Julia Kapsa, Shiloe Khokhar, Abigail Lam, Maria Lettieri, Nicole Podolska, Taylor Riley, Madeline Schiano and Maya Sutkowski. Abigail Lam won the bronze and both Abigail and Julia Evangeliou advanced to the Section XI Individual County Championship.
