Congratulations to the West Islip gymnastic team and coaches MaryAnn McGrade and Caitlyn Leibman for going undefeated and winning the 2024 League Championship! The Lions continued their success in the Suffolk County Team Championship and finished as the top single district team in the county and fifth overall (the top four teams were all combined teams of athletes from multiple high schools). The Lions success continued through the Suffolk County Individual Championship with Zoey Richardelli, Amelia DiBenedetto and Emily Ball shining. Emily Ball’s top six performance qualified her for the NYSPHSAA championship in Buffalo in March. Congratulations to all!
