At Bayview Elementary School, the Character Education Program created a schoolwide project for Unity Day, Bullying Awareness Month, and their monthly character trait Respect. Students pledged to end bullying by decorating a hand and signing their names. Students’ hands were put together to be displayed on a wall mural to showcase that Bayview Elementary School is taking a stand and lending a hand to end bullying.
