Superintendent of Schools Dr. Paul Romanelli visited Mrs. DeGirolamo and Mrs. Florea’s kindergarten classroom at Bayview Elementary School on Nov. 19 as a Thanksgiving guest reader. The students were thrilled to have Dr. Romanelli visit, as he read two titles: “Because I Had a Teacher” and “There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Turkey.” The laughter echoing from the students, coupled with Dr. Romanelli’s warm smile, filled the classroom with a sense of gratitude.
