Bayview Elementary School first grade students have been exploring Creature Features as part of the new English Language Arts program, Arts & Letters. Through engaging with nonfiction texts, these young researchers have been learning about animal characteristics and features. They applied their research by writing informational paragraphs and brought their work to life by creating projects to complement their writing. Way to go first grade researchers and writers!
