Dear West Islip Families,

The 2026–2027 school year is filled with promise and opportunity. Throughout the summer, our dedicated faculty and staff have been working diligently to prepare our schools, strengthen our programs, and plan meaningful learning experiences that will challenge, inspire, and support every student academically, socially, and emotionally.

As a district, we are proud of the progress we continue to make together. From strengthening literacy and expanding innovative learning opportunities to fostering inclusive classrooms and creating meaningful opportunities for student voice and engagement, our focus remains on providing every child with the opportunity to thrive. We are also excited to continue investing in student wellness, safety, impactful technology, and the programs and experiences that make the West Islip learning community so special.

At the heart of our success is the partnership between our schools, families, and community. Your encouragement, involvement, and support make such an important difference in the lives of our students. Together, we will continue to build a school community grounded in kindness, belonging, high expectations, and a deep sense of pride in West Islip.

Thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of educating your children.

Here’s to a wonderful 2026–2027 school year filled with learning, growth, connection, and countless opportunities for our students to shine!
