College Fair Helps Prepare Students for the Future

West Islip High School hosted a College Fair on April 24, providing students with valuable opportunities to explore post-secondary pathways and connect directly with representatives from a wide range of colleges, universities and career programs.
Held in the school’s gymnasium, the event welcomed dozens of institutions from across the region and beyond. Students had the chance to engage in meaningful conversations with admissions representatives, ask questions about academic programs and campus life, and gather information to help guide their future plans.
The College Fair was designed to support students at all stages of the college exploration process. Underclassmen were introduced to the wide variety of options available after graduation, while juniors and seniors gained insight into application requirements, financial aid opportunities and admissions expectations. School counselors and staff were also on hand to provide guidance and support throughout the event.
The College Fair reflects West Islip High School’s ongoing commitment to preparing students for success beyond graduation by providing meaningful, real-world experiences that support college and career readiness.
