High School Brings ‘Les Misérables’ to Life

West Islip High School’s theatre department proudly presented its production of “Les Misérables” on March 26, 27 and 28, showcasing the extraordinary talents of its student performers, musicians and production crew.
“Les Misérables” tells a timeless story of resilience, justice and redemption. West Islip High School’s production brought this classic to life through compelling performances, dynamic musical numbers and thoughtfully designed sets and costumes.
Students dedicated countless hours to rehearsals in preparation for the performances, demonstrating remarkable commitment, collaboration and passion for the arts. From the cast on stage to the crew working behind the scenes, each participant played an essential role in the success of the production. The performances were met with enthusiastic support from the school community, as audiences were captivated by the students’ ability to convey the emotion and depth of the story.
