As part of the school’s new character education program, Bayview Elementary School officially opened its new vending machine on Nov. 25. The “ROARing Rewards Corner” is part of the school’s ROAR (Respect, Organized, Attitude, Responsibility) character education program. Throughout the school day, students earn coins from staff members when they exhibit positive behaviors. They can cash in the coins they earn when they go above and beyond in demonstrating the program’s characteristics. The vending machine is open weekly, and students can choose from a variety of different prizes and experiences.
