Three students from Udall Road Middle School have been nominated for the 2025 Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge, a program of Society for Science. Congratulations to Dylan Rivera, Tyler Burnett and Liliana Randazzo for their project “The Effects of Different Organisms on Aquaponics.”
JIC is a STEM competition for middle school students across the country. Only the top 10 percent of middle school projects nationwide are invited to apply online for the national competition. The students were nominated based on their exceptional performance at the 2025 NYSSEF Regional Thermo Fisher Division Fair. Thirty finalists will be selected and can compete for $100,000 in prizes.
