  Thursday, March 23, 2017- Gold Day
GOLD DAY – ADVISORY SCHEDULE

Attention students! Get your act together for Udall's first ever Lip Sync competition, taking place on April 21st. Only 15 acts will compete for the top prize. A flyer is now available for anyone interested to pick up on the counter in the main office.

Just a reminder to all staff and students that Operation Foot Care for our Platoon in Afghanistan is in full swing. We are badly in need of nail clippers and Athlete’s Foot Cream. Remember these soldiers are protecting our freedom. Let’s support them. The drive ends March 31st.

Student Council will be collecting bags of wrapped candy beginning on today. The candy will be used to make baskets for the 80 children at the United Cerebral Palsy Center in Commack. All donations should be brought to Mrs. Hagens or Mrs. Diorio during Homeroom. Thank you for your support

A reminder that there is Art Club today after school in Room 114 with Mr. Ziems

Udall Road Middle School invites you to be their guest as they present the tale as old as time, Beauty and the Beast Jr, today and tomorrow night at 7:00 PM. Tickets will be sold at the door for $8 and in the cafeteria again today.

The Current Event Team will meet today for our 3rd National Meet. Bring a Number 2 pencil. Study Guides available outside Room 234. Fish will be served!

There is a brief mandatory meeting for all boys interested in the spring track team today after school in the cafeteria. Important paperwork will be given out at that time. Season begins on next Monday.
There will be a softball meeting today at 3 pm in the Gym for all 7th/8th girls interested in playing softball.
Anyone interested in Girls Swimming this Spring, please see Mrs. O’Connor to pick up your Blue Card. The first practice is Monday, March 27th.

Tuesday, March 21, 2017- Gold Day
Congratulations to the Udall wrestling team on their big win over Beach Street on Saturday. The boys have had an amazing season.

The boys volleyball team defeated Finley on Friday winning 3 games to 2. Great serving by Joel Adames and Anthony Riviezzo who combined for 13 aces. There is a home game tomorrow at 4 pm and then the season ends on Friday at 4 pm against Beach Street. Come out and support your team.

The Home & Careers Club and The International Club is cancelled today and will be rescheduled.

Tickets will go on sale for just $8 during ALL lunch periods on starting tomorrow, Wednesday. Tickets will also be sold at the door for both performances. Come on out and support your classmates here at the Udall Road Middle School Auditorium.
Congratulations Udall! We raised $1200 for Muscular Dystrophy! We will be able to send a child to camp this summer for 1 week with money left over for another child. Top classes with the most Shamrocks sold are: Mrs. Stefanak’s Class for 6th Grade, Mrs. Vecchione’s class for 7th Grade and Ms. Marro’s class for 8th Grade. These classes will enjoy Dunkin Donuts before class on Wednesday 3/19. And a special thanks to Ms. Marro for her generous donation 

For all 7th and 8th grade girls interested in playing lacrosse, there will be a mandatory meeting today, at 3:00 in the cafeteria.

There will be a brief meeting for anyone who is trying out for the boys tennis team after school today. Please wait outside the gym for Coach Orehosky.

The Udall Boys Lacrosse Meeting will be held today after school at 3:30pm in the cafeteria.

The Home & Careers Club and The International Club will meet tomorrow afternoon in Room 115 to make Irish soda bread muffins. Share the luck of the Irish and join us in a fun baking activity!

The Elizabeth McNamee Memorial Cell Phone and Ink Cartridge Fund Drive has begun and will continue till the end of May. If you have any old cell phones or ink cartridges and would like to discard them please bring them to the main office. There will be a box provided for them in the main lobby. Thank you.

NJHS students will be selling shamrocks until this Friday, March 17th in period 1 classes to benefit people with Muscular Dystrophy. Purchase a green shamrock for $1.00 or a gold one for $5.00. The period 1 class that purchases the most will win a surprise to be announced.

There will be a Leadership Club meeting today after school in room 236. We will be discussing the upcoming advisory lesson and assigning members to teachers again. Please see Mrs. Mileti or Mrs. Schwartz if you cannot attend.
