  Good Morning. Today is Friday, May 26th. It is a GOLD day. Please stand for the pledge.
Attention Seniors: If your SAT or ACT score qualifies you for the Academic Excellence Club, please fill out the form in the Counseling Office and give it to your counselor to ensure your recognition at graduation.
All students who have purchased a yearbook are listed outside the main office. If you are not on the list, and would like a yearbook, please visit My School Bucks before June 8th. No cash will be accepted. There are 50 yearbooks left.

Attention ALL Seniors! The absolute last day we will accept payment for Senior Prom tickets will be Thursday, June 1st, via check ONLY! Please make checks payable to West Islip Class of 2017 and give to Ms. Cifelli or Mr. DePompeo in Room 191. The cost of a prom ticket is $125.00. The final MANDATORY Pre-Prom Parent Meeting is on Thursday, June 1st. This is the only way to receive a permission slip. ALL prom permission slips are due by Monday, June 5th. Please return them to Ms. Cifelli or Mr. DePompeo ASAP.
Attention all Senior members of the NHS: The Google form to upload your required 40 community service hours is now attached to the link found on Mrs. Gifford's eboard under the NHS tab. Please follow the directions found there. All hours are due by 5/31 in order to receive your blue yolk for graduation!

Our final meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 31 in room 107 after school. Pizza will be served and awards will be handed out. The Lion's den video will be shown. Please join us!

Calling all outdoor concert lovers! Come see our talented students and staff perform at this year's West Islip Rocks Variety Show next Wednesday, May 31st. Bring your blankets and beach balls to the HS courtyard and enjoy good music in the summer air. Show starts at 7! Tickets are $5.

There is a mandatory meeting Thursday June 1st at 215 in boy's gym for anyone playing Varsity football next year. If you have any conflicts you must see Coach Mileti.

Invitations have been mailed to all senior varsity athletes who will be receiving an award at the upcoming Athletic Awards Dinner on Monday, June 12th at 7:00pm at Captain Bill’s Restaurant in Bay Shore. Any senior athlete who has not received a mailed invitation and therefore NOT receiving an award, but is still interested in attending, can pick up an invitation in the high school main office.

Class of 2019 fundraiser at Cafe Europa, today May 25 from 11AM until closing. Mention the "Class of 2019" and 15% of your order gets donated to the class.

Driver Education Summer registration will be held today May 25 from 12-2:30 outside the auditorium. Registration materials can be found on the Driver education eboard.

Please consider donating to Helping Hands at the West Islip Fire House. Nonperishable kids’ meals, beach towels, flip flops, balls, backpacks, totes filled with school supplies. Donations will be accepted at the West Islip Fire House Union Blvd. June 14th by 9:30am. Community service will be given.
Swirls & Twirls of West Islip is looking for a few good people to join their team evenings and weekend hours available, prior cash handling experience, fast food experience preferred. You must have a fun outgoing personality. Must love to interact with people and be outgoing. Attention all junior NHS members. There will be a meeting on Tuesday, May, 23 directly after school in the library for anyone interested in an officer's position next year. You must attend if you plan on applying. There was also a remind sent, so check your phones!

The last meeting for the environmental club is today in Room 207 at 2:15. Food and drinks will be served, compliments of Ms. Sepe. We will recap the year and take suggestions for next school year! I hope to see all club participants at the meeting!
