Congratulations to the Girls JV Lacrosse Team for beating Smithtown East 19-7 yesterday. Ava Sesto had 3 goals and 3 assists and Jaden Mule’ had 4 goals and one assist. Kayla Greene, Peyton Ryan and Claudia Mangiamele were amazing on defense. Lily Bilello had 7 saves and Erin Corcoran had 6 saves. Both ladies played incredible in goal. The team remains unbeaten with nine wins!

Attention ALL Students: Please come down to the Class of 2020 Ping Pong Tournament tonight in the Girls Gym at 7:00. There will be plenty of prizes, and pizza will be sold.

Any student taking an AP exam please come to the main office to complete paperwork.

SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) is holding a paint night on Saturday April 29th at Babylon Beach Estates Clubhouse. Admission is $35, snacks will be provided. There will be a 2-4pm and 7-9pm session. No painting experience required. Bring friends and family. All are welcome. For more information go to our facebook page @WIHS SADD or contact Ms. Matthews.

Wednesday, April 26, 2017- Gold Day
Attention ALL Students: Please come down to the Class of 2020 Ping Pong Tournament tomorrow in the Girls Gym at 7:00. There will be plenty of prizes, and pizza will be sold. Sign ups end today outside of Room 134A. You do not want to miss it!!!

Any student taking an AP exam please come to the main office to complete paperwork if you were unable to attend the paperwork party.

The JV Softball Team remains undefeated at 8-0 with last week's wins over Bellport (16-1) and West Babylon (12-1). Amanda Librizzi picked up the win for both games striking out 9 against Bellport and 12 against West Babylon. The Lions bats are hot, especially against West Babylon, putting up 17 hits, highlighted by Tori Brower sending a 3 run homerun over the fence, Julianna Budriss going 4 for 4 with 3 doubles and a single, and Ali Weston going 3 for 4 with an RBI. Great job!

The Boys Varsity Tennis team defeated Connetquot 4-3. Winning for the Lions were Will Fix, Evan Raible, Zach Keogh, Marty Racanelli, Mike Felice, Griffin Costello and Sean Moran. Congratulations.

Congratulations to the girls track team on their performances at the Joe Brando Relays on Saturday. Breaking the school record in the 2 x steeple chase was Klaire Klemens and Krista O'Connor. Breaking the school Record in both the 2 x triple jump and the 2 x long jump was Sam Jenks and Paige Grill. Medal Winners included Shannon Horan, Leanna Paulsen, Alexa Innes, Katie Penny, Hanna Battaglini, Kiersten Dolan, Julianna Moses, Rachel Denzler, Christine Delianne, Sierra Koehler, Alyssa Ramcke, and Mikayla Woss. Great Job girls.

Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Track and Field team who on Friday defeated Kings Park to raise their record to 4 wins and 0 losses. The Lions were led by very spirited first place finishes by Desmond Benton in the mile with a time of 4 minutes 38 seconds and Cody White in pole vault with a jump of 10 feet 3 inches. Great job boys and good luck Thursday against Bellport.
