Monday, April 24, 2017- Gold Day
The Dodgeball Contest last Friday night was a fun night, filled with some amazing ducks, dives, dips, and dodges. A few great comebacks and many competitive matches - The 6th grade overall winner was The Unknown - Jake McEnaney, Cole Sparks, CJ Schwarz, Alexander Burciaga, Carl Lanza, Brendan Pollard, Evan Aponte, and Aidan Lodie - who went undefeated throughout the night. Their only loss was in match for fun against the overall 7th/8th grade winner - The Lax Bros - Nick Donarumma, Josh Piht, Lucas Brophy, Thomas Decanio, Nico Severino, Nolan Walters, Joe Cosentino, and Joe Sharp - who lost their first match, but ran the table to take the championship, as well as taking out the teacher team - although Mr. Salerno held on for quite a while as the last teacher standing. We’d like to thank the student council for hosting another awesome event, the custodial crew for helping out, as well as the teachers chaperoning and playing: Mr. Salerno, Mrs. Ciangetti, Mrs. Madocks, Coach Riley, Mr. and Mr. Fawess, and Mrs. Fulton. See you again next year!
